First, put the detergent pod in a bucket, add hot water and wait for the pod to completely dissolve. Alternatively, you can use any detergent for fabrics.
Then dip a clean cleaning cloth in the cleaning water. You should wear rubber gloves when doing this, as some ingredients in the detergent could attack and irritate the skin.
Then wring out the rag slightly and spread it out completely. Place the pot lid in the middle of the cloth and fold it in from the outside in so that the ends lie over the lid handle.
To clean your sofa, for example, all you have to do is run the wrapped lid over the upholstery. Depending on the degree of soiling and the size of the furniture, it may be necessary to wash out the cleaning rag several times or to refill the detergent water.
