After the Netflix sleeping bag, why not try the Netflix dinner, or even Netflix t-shirts? Quite unexpectedly, the platform recently announced Bloomberg that it would open physical stores all over the world by 2025.

Netflix’s Disneyland
The Netflix Houses, as that is what they will be nicknamed, will offer restaurant areas, souvenir shops and more or less participatory shows. These spaces will obviously aim to promote, like a mini-Disneyland, Netflix content and the advantages of Reed Hastings’ streaming platform.
“ We saw how much fans love to immerse themselves in the world of our films and TV series, and we thought a lot about how to take the next step “, explained Josh Simon, head of product at Netflix. The restaurants will therefore offer dishes inspired by the platform’s series as well as more upscale culinary experiences.
Only in the United States at the moment
This isn’t exactly the first time that Netflix has opened physical stores around the world. Numerous pop-up stores have already appeared here and there across the globe in recent years, including one in Paris dedicated to Stranger Things. An “immersive experience” inspired by the series has also emerged next to the Parc de la Villette, but this time, it will be proper stores, designed to be established over time, which will open, flocked with the company logo. Let’s hope this goes better than the last promotional operation for Squid Games…
At the moment, only two stores, only in the United States, are planned, but the streaming service has promised that more stores will appear in several major cities around the world. We can only hope to soon be able to buy baguettes and croissants fromEmily in Paris in a real Netflix store.
