The hospital association KAV cracked down on: 14 women were dismissed without notice – and they complained against it in the Vienna Labor and Social Court. Their lawyer Anton Ehm insists on a break from work in which women can eat and drink, naturally non-alcoholic. They would have done that: “To fire them for this is excessive.”
“Zero understanding and tolerance”
Attorney Dieter Kieslinger represents the KAV: “We celebrated in a room without masks, cheek to cheek, without any distance. And that on an oncological ward. There is zero understanding and tolerance for that. ”Especially since the pictures landed on social media. It is said to have been made by a nurse – there is a “dissolution reservation” against her. Because she just wants to have passed the “party room” on the way to a patient and took this picture.
The women defend themselves that they have either already been vaccinated or have currently been tested. The process started on Monday with the first plaintiff who, like her colleagues, wants to be reinstated. It will continue in June.
