Woman seriously injured – Shots in Graz: “Intentionally aimed at legs”

As reported, a 36-year-old mother of two was gunned down by her husband on Sunday in Graz. The 44-year-old aimed at his wife from just under one and a half meters. She survived with serious injuries to her legs – “because I only aimed there,” said the man. Because he didn’t want to kill her.

“The whole thing has already emerged,” says Josef Benedikt. The man from Graz knows the suspect well. His daughter lives in the same house. “We have already worked together because he has a clearing company and I prepare apartments.” The wife wanted to leave the 44-year-old stateless man.

Several times there was therefore a dispute. “You mustn’t treat your wife and children like that, I said to him several times. And then distanced myself from him because I already had such a bad gut feeling, “says Benedikt in the” Krone “conversation.

On Saturday afternoon, after a dispute, there was a ban on entry. But the 44-year-old returned on Sunday and shot his wife, a native of Kyrgyzstan. He is said to have found the weapon during a house eviction and illegally owned it. The questioning of the victim is still pending.
