Wonder Woman could be a service game according to job posting

The said job offer concerns a position of lead software engineer. Monolith Productions is looking for a C++ manager capable of adequately distributing gameplay-related tasks, with, ideally, experience in monitoring a game-service. The announcement explicitly mentions the project Wonder Woman, leaving little doubt about the turn taken by the heroine. Incidentally, the announcement reconfirms that the Nemesis system patented by the studio will be back. Already seen in the Shadow of Mordor duology, this system makes your enemies evolve over the course of your encounters: leaving a rival alive gives him the opportunity to come back stronger. It remains to be seen how it will be implemented on Amazon.

Boring with truth

Well, it’s not all darkness at Monolith Productions. If information has been very scarce since the official announcement of Wonder Woman at the Game Awards 2021, we know in particular that the team picked up along the way Mila Pavlin, former head of UX and accessibility at Santa Monica. His excellent work on God of War: Ragnarök was rightly recognized with an award at the Game Awards. Something to smile about for players with disabilities.

And since a good sourced leak is always a pleasure, the supervisor of the motion capture James Philip Gentile blundered with a LinkedIn banner revealing two surprise characters. He has since obviously removed the incriminating image, but the internet never forgets anything. Nothing says if these two subsidiary characters will be playable, but the banner has the merit of offering a first glimpse of the Themiscyra of Monolith.

It remains to be seen if, when and where will be released Wonder Woman. No platforms or release windows confirmed yet.
