(CercleFinance.com) – Following their entry into exclusive negotiations announced last April, Worldline and Crédit Agricole announce the signing of a binding agreement, specifying the outlines of their partnership project in payment services for merchants.
It is expected that the required authorizations from regulators and competent authorities will be obtained, then that the joint venture will be operational before the end of 2023, thus making it possible to envisage the launch of the first offers under its aegis in early 2024.
‘This unique and innovative alliance would allow the two partners to create a joint venture with the ambition of becoming a major player in payment services in France’, recall the two groups.
