Worldline says it has little exposure to the repercussions of the war in Ukraine

PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–The electronic payments specialist Worldline said on Friday that it had little exposure to the war in Ukraine and its repercussions on international transactions.

About 1.5% of revenue is made in Russia-related activities, mainly transactions between Russian consumers and international merchants, Worldline said in a statement.

“The group has no exposure to Ukraine. The other Eastern European countries bordering Russia and Ukraine represent around 1.5% of the estimated proforma 2021 annual revenue on continuing activities, of which around half relate to transaction processing activities in the Baltic countries”, the statement said, adding that these activities “are not impacted by the conflict”.

Furthermore, Worldline has indicated that it does not have any significant exposure to subcontractors or tools at risk of being targeted by the sanctions imposed on Russia.
