Worlds-LoL, Peanut’s week: “Is it me who didn’t understand anything or is it?”

Warning: this article is written for parody purposes, taking Peanut’s point. These are neither the thoughts nor the statements of Gen’s jungler. G., it is used here only to allow certain figures of speech. The purpose of the article is to take a different look at the competition, far from its serious side. If Peanut was chosen to be the main protagonist, it is because he is a player known for his joy of life and his positivity, which seemed to us perfect for the tone that we wanted to give to these articles. There is no question of disrespecting either Peanut or the other players.

The Play-In: am I a genius or a mutant?

I do not have not really understood what was happening during the Play-In. Most commentators spoke of a historic moment, becausea team from a so-called major region (by the way I don’t really understand this ranking, with a region that has never won a single international tournament being part of it, while another that has won the Worlds once has become a minor region) has been eliminated. Even though it was already arrived before, apparently the moment was still historic. So I didn’t understand everything, but I did verified by counting several times on my fingers: 5 teams from so-called major regions, for 4 qualifying places, that necessarily meant that one of them would not pass. So why did everyone look surprised?

The reactions from the commentators were so intense, they all insisted on it, when it was obvious it had to happen. Or, it means maybe say i’m not ordinary with my five fingers, and normal humans have less than five fingers. It is surely why i’m so good at video games. In addition, I checked, each member of my team also has five fingers, and each hand in addition! You have to vote for us, our final victory is beyond doubt! Even though I feel a bit bad for the other teams, I feel like I’m cheating a bit with this unfair genetic advantage.

An ordinary human with four fingers

The start of the group stage: please stick to the script!

the scenario of the Worlds is knownit is the same every year: a Korean team or Korean carry wins against other Korean teams or Korean carry. We even have the right to humiliate people by drafting anyhow, then ruin your soloQ where lots of players will try to reproduce that. But apparently RNG didn’t get the memo, beat us. No but, RNG you don’t have Korean, you can’t win. It’s complicated to work with amateurs, for the return match we will have to do a real draft without Singed botlanesince apparently they can’t follow the simplest of scenarios.

No, but really this year, it’s nonsense. the next day, it was Europeans who beat the other two Korean teams, including T1. Luckily Rogue has a Korean player, so on their end it’s fine. But Fnatic is not good. You don’t have to beat Korea since the departure of Spirit and Gamsu… How’s 2018? No, but that doesn’t count, they didn’t meet Korean teams or Korean players between the quarters and the final. Or Riot Games modified the script, without telling us anything. I swear it’s not easy working with amateurs!

See you next week for another relevant (or not) analysis of the competition!

Return of the analysis of the meta at high level (Platinum +) on League of Legends. After a 12.18 patch that changed little, 12.19 brought a breath of fresh air to Summoner’s Rift. Nevertheless, can we really speak of a revival??
