On the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, this employee of Mc Donald’s Marsac-sur-l’Isle had left his service shortly after midnight. No one had seen him again. The relatives of the missing had alerted the Périgueux police station. The police then made a first alarming observation: Loïc Douhot’s car was still parked in the parking lot and, even more worrying, his belongings were lying next to it.
An investigation was therefore immediately opened, entrusted to the Périgord branch of the Bordeaux judicial police. According to a source close to the investigations, “things have evolved very quickly”. By accessing the data from the mobile phone of the disappeared, the investigators realized that the device of the disappeared had limited to an area including Gravelle, Montrem and Coursac.
Abduction and forcible confinement
Thursday, February 10, the investigators were able to refine a track. According to our information, the intervention of a third party in the disappearance of Loïc Douhot was no longer in doubt. This is why the public prosecutor of Périgueux, Solène Belaouar, had taken the procedure to the next stage: she opened a judicial investigation for kidnapping and forcible confinement, considering that it was a “particularly disappearance disturbing”.
Several dozen people were mobilized for the search carried out this Friday morning.

The conduct of the investigation was entrusted to an investigating judge. The latter ordered a search that took place throughout the morning of this Friday, February 11, with a farm in Mensignac as operational headquarters.
