Originally deployed during the generalized confinement imposed by the appearance of Covid-19 more than two years earlier, the Wind of Wisdom bonus makes an unexpected return on World of Warcraft: Shadowlands this summer of 2022! Blizzard has indeed announced that players will have the chance to benefit from an exceptional bonus over a rather long period of time in order to catch up and start Season 4 in good standing!
What is the Winds of Wisdom?
The bonus titled Winds of Wisdom is a passive bonus offered free of charge to all players of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. It only affects Modern WoW characters, not Classic or Burning Crusade Classic.
Regardless of your character’s region, realm, level, race, or faction, they’re bound to be eligible for this one-of-a-kind bonus. For a short time, it allows you to gain 50% more experience points from all sources (whether it’s just killing mobs, completing a dungeon, completing a quest, winning a battleground, or n anything else).
Finally, the Winds of Wisdom affect all World of Warcraft accounts without exception, and the use of so-called “Legacy” items does not reduce its effects. The opportunity or never to gain a few levels for certain classes that you have dreamed of playing until now, or to obtain the ancestral armor that you would miss for example!
Winds of Wisdom Bonus Duration
On the European kingdoms, the Winds of Wisdom are active from Wednesday July 20 at 09:00 a.m. (Paris time) until Wednesday August 3, 2022 at 09:00 a.m. (Paris time). Throughout this period, all your characters without exception will benefit from this bonus. As soon as Season 4 of Shadowlands opens (Wednesday, August 3, 2022), the Winds of Wisdom will fade and experience gain will return to normal.
Special mention to Burning Crusade Classic players: the bonus you have been promised will soon be deployed if we are to believe the recent tweet from the official account of the game on this subject: “Classic players, we haven’t forgotten you. Stay tuned.“
