With the very forthcoming deployment of the Dragonflight expansion for World of Warcraft as well as its PrePatch, Blizzard recently unveiled a new series of new short films with specific themes unknown to date (except for those who have already played Beta) would be released soon. This is called “Legacy”, “Legacy” in English.
Dragonflight “Legacies” Series Release Date
The first episode of this new small series composed of three episodes is scheduled to be unveiled Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 8:00 p.m. (Paris time) on the official Warcraft YouTube channel, and a trailer is already available. We contemplate Nozdormu, the Aspect of Bronze and Lord of Time, telling us what he lived and the reasons that will lead us to the Dragon Islands at the end of next month.

To fully understand the context of this trailer, and therefore of the series to come, you have to place yourself in the context of the expansion: Nozdormu addresses you as Dracthyr, the new race introduced with Dragonflight. Confined and isolated for thousands of years, you have thus missed many major events in the history of Azeroth and its inhabitants… And the Time Lord is here to explain to you which were the most significant, but also the reasons why you were awakened, You, creation of Neltharion.
These are therefore past events that are shown to you during this short trailer, very distant events that date back to the time of the birth of the first dragons, the Proto-dragons or Proto-drakes, but also the terrible destiny of the most great and mighty of them: Galakrond.
A new threat looms over Azeroth. As Dracthyr, you are the designated combatant to fight against her and make a difficult choice as thousands of years before you have been able to do, but also very recently with the destruction of Deathwing, those who presented as being the Draconic Aspects: Alexstrasza, Malygos (later replaced by Kalecgos), Nozdormu, Ysera and Neltharion.
