The appointment was already set, but we now know where and when to follow announcements for the future of Blizzard’s MMORPG. On Tuesday, April 19, WoW’s next expansion will be unveiled. Theme, name, antagonists and new events will present themselves to players. The journey to Shadowlands is coming to an end, and it’s time for the heroes to prepare for new adventures.
How to follow the announcement of the next WoW extension
As always, Blizzard will reveal the next expansion in streaming. Since there was no BlizzCon for this, it will therefore be on Twitch and YouTube that the event will be broadcast. The show should last at least an hour, enough time to present all the new features to come. But we can also expect a few surprises, especially for Prime Gaming members.

What can we expect from the extension?
At the moment, official clues are slim regarding the next expansion. However, a recent leak would have revealed the theme of the latter, with a focus on the Dragonflights. This could corroborate the various avenues open to Battle for Azeoth, in addition to developing the history of the Aspects since the loss of their power. But it would also be an opportunity to discover new places in the air. Unfortunately, we have to wait for the live announcement of the WoW extension on April 19 to know for sure.
However, this announcement does not mark the end of shadowlands. The latter still has good days ahead of it, especially with the arrival of a somewhat special season 4 during the year.
