“Writing Secrets” changes its name and becomes “Biblio-Fil”, discover the new formula of our literary podcast! : Current Woman Le MAG

For three years now, Current wife meets reading enthusiasts around Writing secrets, a podcast in which writers talk about the release of their latest work. Now, from January 2024, Writing secrets changes name and form to become Biblio-Fil. You don’t need a doctorate in literature to understand the play on words with the term “bibliophile”, which designates the love of reading of course, but also the appetite for books. This is why our podcast offers a new concept: Cécile Pivot is now going to meet authors, directly at their homes, to an intimate interview in front of their own library. Knowing their favorite authors and works, discovering their relationship with books, both as an object and a working tool, understanding their way of organizing them… This is the vocation of Biblio-Fil.

Meeting Camille de Peretti in the first episode of “Biblio-Fil”

For the first episode of this new podcast, available on all platforms from January 18, 2024, it was the novelist Camille de Peretti who agreed to play the game. She has just published her ninth book – after Thornytorinx, La Casati or The blood of mirabelle plums – titled The Unknown Portraitpublished by Calmann-Lévy. “An adventure novel that combines big and small stories with talent”as Cécile Pivot herself describes it, and which is inspired by the famous painting Portrait of a lady, painted by Gustav Klimt in 1910. On the occasion of this outing, the writer received our journalist at her home, in the privacy of her library full of books. It must be said that in addition to writing, Camille de Peretti is the archetype of the bibliophile… It must be said that in addition to writing, Camille de Peretti is a great reader.
