X/Twitter: Problem with the short message service – the app is causing problems

On Friday afternoon, numerous users of the short message service formerly known as Twitter reported problems to us. This means you cannot access the social network properly.

The Twitter app is particularly affected, as you can see from our Twitter fault reporter. However, some users also have difficulties when using Twitter via the browser. Few also complain about connection problems.

The problem apparently does not affect all users

On the official one Twitter support page There is no information about the current disruption yet. However, it apparently goes in waves. You might be lucky in the meantime that the messaging service works for you. In a self-test we were at least able to access the website without any problems.
