One of the assets of the ecosystem Xbox, this is the strength of its retro catalog. the Microsoft Store offers a wide selection of Xbox 360 and even Xbox games, easily accessible thanks to the backward compatibility of Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. But for those who were still playing on Xbox 360, some titles will soon no longer be purchasable.
The manufacturer has just announced that, from February 7, 2023, a selection of games and DLCs of this past era is going to be removed from the Xbox 360 Marketplace. The list varies by countrybut in France, they are 44 games to be on the go.

The news is however not so dramatic as that. Already, it only concerns Xbox 360 : all games on this list also available for digital purchase on the Microsoft Store will remain so and will be accessible from your Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Then, if you have already purchased either of these titles or an associated expansion on the Xbox 360 Marketplace, you will retain access to them and can redownload them at your leisure until further notice. If you continue to play on Xbox 360, consider purchasing the games that interest you before February 7.
Although it concerns only a few players, this story once again demonstrates the planned death of digital games: until when will games still be on sale on Xbox 360 and especially until when will possible to redownload them? For retro lovers, many games of this generation are available via the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for €12.99 per month.
