The marketing campaign around the film Barbie is such that we will obviously be eating it at all the racks by its July 19 release. Even the video game world will not be spared, as evidenced by these few initiatives carried out in partnership with Microsoft around its consoles Xbox.
The first is the addition now of there 1956 Chevrolet Corvette EV the doll’s iconic rose in Forza Horizon 5, alongside the 2022 GMC Hummer EV of Ken. They are completely free and can be unlocked through the message center of the game. Otherwise, two competitions will soon be organized: one will allow you to win of the Barbie dressed in miniature clothing inspired by the range Xbox Gearthe other to get an Xbox Series S or a controller bearing the image of the film.
This second competition will take place on Twitter from July 10 and will allow the luckiest to leave with a console next gen completely pink, integrated into an equally colorful dollhouse. The result may clash with your interior decoration, but we must admit that its originality is a pleasure to see.

Drive like Barbie and Ken in Forza Horizon 5
Barbie is driven by her diverse ambitions, and she always does it in style. In the film, Barbie hits the road in a 1956 Chevrolet Corvette EV (pink, of course) while Ken rides alongside her in a 2022 GMC Hummer EV pickup. Forza Horizon 5 can join them with virtual versions of both cars. All Forza Horizon 5 players will receive these themed cars. Just download them from the game’s Message Center and they’ll appear in your garage, ready to race, even if you don’t live in Barbie Land.

Fans will also be able to experience the video as part of a very special livestream on July 14 from Barbie World, where they can learn more about Barbie and watch our hosts race in the Barbie and Ken vehicles seen in the movie, in Forza Horizon 5.
