Xbox Cloud Gaming will get richer, and it’s also coming to Samsung Smart TVs from 2022

Microsoft intends to bet more and more on the cloud, it is not a surprise. We knew that the manufacturer was looking to make its Xbox Game Pass accessible to other media, without the need to have a console at hand. And this fantasy (for some) will become reality this year, because Phil Spencer and his teams have found a partnership with Samsung and its Smart TVsin addition toan enrichment of the Xbox Cloud Gaming catalog.

A growing library

Just before telling us about its games at the two Xbox-Bethesda Showcase conferences in the coming days, Microsoft released some information on the future of its services, such as the announcement of Project Moorcroft, bringing new demos to Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Ultimate.

Xbox Cloud Gaming will also benefit from special care in the coming years. If until now, it was only possible to play some Xbox Game Pass games in the cloud, the Cloud service will be improved so that games from your Xbox catalog, whether they are in Game Pass or not, can be played wherever you want. We are not talking about all the games here, but only a selection, which has not yet been specified for the moment and which is set to grow.

Playing your Xbox games on a TV, without a console, is soon possible

Furthermore, enjoying Xbox Cloud Gaming may soon be possible with just a Smart TV. It will start first with Samsung brand televisions, with a dedicated application that will allow access to the Xbox Cloud Gaming catalog in the easiest way possible. Then simply connect a Bluetooth controller to your TV to play.

This service will be launched from June 30 in 27 countriesand it seems to be necessary to have a 2022 Samsung Smart TVs to enjoy. If this is the case, you will need to launch the application and log into your account to enjoy Xbox Game Pass (and other Xbox games when Xbox Cloud Gaming is improved) without having purchased an Xbox, or any games free like Fortnite, without paying a subscription. Of course, you will also need a good internet connection.

The future is already here for Microsoftand we are now waiting to know when this service will be extended to other TV manufacturers, and e waiting to know the future games added to the Xbox Cloud Gaming catalog.
