Whether you’ve played it before or just seen streamers broadcast their game, you probably already know Besiege. The game asking to build machines to destroy medieval forts has indeed amused the Web since its Early Access in 2015, before finally moving to 1.0 in 2020.
Surprise, Spiderling Studios now wants to port it to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, in a controller-friendly version that will first be offered through the program Overview. Another good news, this improved edition will be integrated into Xbox Game Pass when it arrives on consoles, February 10, 2022. One more title to diversify the still impressive catalog of the service.
The console version of Besiege will be available in Preview on February 10 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and in Xbox Game Pass! This is a physics-based construction game where you will create war machines to destroy fortresses, crush entire legions of soldiers, avoid traps and solve puzzles. In the single-player campaign, you’ll have to conquer four distinct islands, each with its own theme and filled with fully destructible levels.
The game features a wide variety of advanced construction tools and tons of blocks that will let you create your ultimate weapon, designed for destruction and mayhem. Manipulate time to see the action in slow motion and admire the carnage!
Those familiar with the PC version of Besiege will find that the title has been extensively overhauled, several parts of it have been developed from scratch to greatly improve the gaming experience and a brand new interface has been added, so that controller interactions are more enjoyable.
This console version also includes a completely new workshop that will allow you to share machines, which themselves have original features, such as the ability to take an attractive screenshot of your creation and customize the background of it. !
We developed this version with a lot of love and attention, we wanted to create a console version of Besiege that we could be proud of and that both newbies and veterans could enjoy.
