Xbox Game Pass in May: Fresh releases, samurai action and a GTA departure

It’s the beginning of the month and it’s time for a new round of games in Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft has finally let the cat out of the bag and is introducing 7 new additions for subscribers to look forward to in May. We’ll show you, including the trailer, what it is.

Xbox Game Pass: 7 new games in May

Microsoft has finally rolled out the new games for Xbox Game Pass. Subscribers are allowed to seven new titles happy, including some very fresh releases. The following list reveals on which platforms the individual games are available and when:

  • Loot River (Consoles, PC and Cloud) – starting May 3rd
  • Citizen Sleeper (Consoles, PC and Cloud) – starting May 5th
  • Trek to Yomi (Consoles, PC and Cloud) – starting May 5th
  • Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising (Consoles, PC and Cloud) – starting May 10th
  • This War of Mine: Final Cut (Consoles, PC and Cloud) – starting May 10th
  • Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition (Consoles, PC and Cloud) – starting May 10th
  • NHL 22nd (Consoles) – May 12th

Which games are leaving the XGP in May?

In addition to the growth, of course, some games have to go again. The following titles are from May 15th no longer available in Xbox Game Pass:

  • GTA: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition (Consoles and Cloud) – leaves the XGP already on May 10th
  • Enter The Gungeon (Consoles, PC and Cloud)
  • Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster (Consoles and PC)
  • Remnant: From the Ashes (Consoles, PC and Cloud)
  • steep (consoles and cloud)
  • The Catch: Carp and Coarse (Consoles, PC and Cloud)
  • The Wild at Heart (Consoles, PC and Cloud)

Outlook for the coming months: The May games are well known. But what follows afterwards? A few games have already been announced for June or July. The following new additions await you in the XGP in the coming months:

  • Assassin’s Creed: Origins – Date unknown
  • For Honor: Marching Fire Edition – Date unknown
  • Shadowrun Trilogy: Console Edition (Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S) – from June 21st
  • Match Point: Tennis Championships – from July 7th
