With Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft offers gamers a large catalog of well-known games. The US company regularly adds titles, but games occasionally leave Game Pass.
This is also the case with the mega blockbuster GTA 5 from Rockstar Games. The game will soon be leaving Game Pass, as Microsoft confirms on its own website. An exact date is not given, but the gaming magazine Polygon writes that the game should only be available until mid-January 2024.

GTA 5 has already been available on Game Pass a few times. Just because the title disappears doesn’t mean it will never return. Maybe it won’t happen again before GTA 6 is released.
Microsoft will soon remove the versions for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. GTA 5 is currently not available in PC Game Pass, so you can’t switch to the computer here.
GTA 5 on PS Plus
Just in December 2023, Sony’s rival service PlayStation Plus added GTA 5 to the PS Plus Extra and Premium game catalogs.
GTA 5 is an action-adventure game that was originally released in 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360 and has now sold more than 190 million copies across three different console generations and PC. It is one of the most successful video games of all time.
