We are never safe from surprises with the Xbox Game Pass. The service makes it possible to take advantage of new Xbox Game Studios from their launch, but also from freshly released indies and productions of all levels thanks to all kinds of partnerships. Microsoft even got into the habit of signing contracts with major publishers to include AAA upon release, and will continue to do so this month.
We learn that Rainbow Six Extraction, the FPS cooperative derived from Rainbow Six Siege, will be available in the Xbox Game Pass and the PC Game Pass as soon as it becomes available on January 20, 2022. In short, a good way to expand your community and attract curious people who might not have wanted to buy it right away, even if they will probably have to go back to the cashier in a few months if the title leaves the game library. To celebrate that, Rainbow Six Siege, already available in the Xbox Game Pass in via Xbox Cloud Gaming, will be added to PC Game Pass on the same date.
Rainbow Six Operators are going to face their biggest challenge in Rainbow Six Extraction on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC, but they won’t be alone – quite the contrary. Rainbow Six Extraction will be available upon release in Xbox Game Pass. Operators will therefore be able to count on Game Pass members from around the world on console, PC and in the cloud to help them fight an ever-evolving alien threat that is putting Earth in peril.
When the title releases on January 20, Xbox Game Pass members will be able to experience an intense and unpredictable experience in solo or up to 3 players in co-op and take part in dynamic missions. Rainbow Six Extraction is a cooperative tactical FPS that brings a squad-based PvE experience to the millions of Rainbow Six players and everyone else.
And that’s not all, Rainbow Six fans playing on PC will be delighted to hear that Rainbow Six Siege will also be available from January 20 in PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. With the title already available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members on console and in the cloud, you can practice your tactical skills now while you wait for Rainbow Six Extraction to be released. If you play Siege and Extraction, you’ll unlock the epic gear from the United Front Pack.
