The Earth has changed. Twenty years have passed since world leaders agreed to unconditional surrender to extraterrestrial forces. XCOM, the planet’s last line of defense, has been decimated. Now the aliens have taken over the Earth. And while they build magnificent cities that seem to announce an equally magnificent future for humanity, they secretly carry out a sinister project, consisting among other things of eliminating all opponents of the new regime.
Just like the previous title, XCOM 2 is a turn-based strategy game. It allows the player to send units into battle, which will move from square to square in order to reach their targets. But not everything is played on the ground, because the player must also manage the base of the resistance, the recruitments as well as all the logistical aspect of the place.
