An aura of mystery still surrounds the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. While the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro have already been unveiled, this third ultra high-end model is long overdue. So much so that we feared its pure and simple abandonment, which however the firm has never confirmed.
The famous leaker Digital Chat Station once again used its Weibo account to discuss the device. Information that must of course be taken with a grain of salt. The latter notably communicated on two crucial points: the size of the battery and the power of its fast charging block. A particularly important subject for a mobile supposed to stand out for its power.
Increased autonomy?
According to him, the smartphone would be equipped with a 4860 mAh battery, that is to say 260 mAh more than that of the Xiaomi 12 Pro. The Mi 11 Ultra had a 5000 mAh battery and was durable. We can therefore hope that it is doing well, especially since it would embed components and technologies making it less energy-consuming. This is particularly the case for the LTPO 2.0 panel, which allows the refresh rate to be changed from 1 Hz to 120 Hz depending on use.

the leaker also explains that this battery will be compatible with 120 W fast charging technology. Named HyperCharge in Xiaomi jargon, the latter convinced us during the Xiaomi 11T Pro test. A move upmarket, since it was limited to 67 W in its predecessor. On the other hand, wireless charging would be content with 50 W, which corresponds to the limit established by the new Chinese regulations. In any case, the time to refuel should not be very long.
We will still have to take our troubles patiently in order to find out more. If these statements are true, Xiaomi should soon mention this model again.
