The Xiaomi 14 series will be officially launched this October, although unfortunately not everyone will be able to get their hands on it (at least initially).

Last week, smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi announced the end of MIUI in favor of a new operating system: HyperOS. This change, announced as a major one in the brand’s strategy, will help promote bridges between the different devices making up its ecosystem.

While waiting to discover the interface of this new OS, the Chinese finally tells us the marketing date of its new flagships: the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro.

The release of the Xiaomi 14 officially dated (in China)

It’s official: Xiaomi’s new smartphones will arrive on October 26 in China. It is logically on this same day that the manufacturer will hold its event during which it will also present its new connected watch, the Xiaomi Watch S3. Obviously, this presentation will also be an opportunity to learn more about Xiaomi’s ambitions with HyperOS for the years to come.

As a reminder, the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro should both usher in the launch of HyperOS, which will materialize, according to the brand’s statements, “ a significant advance “. If, in China, customers will be able to get their hands on the new Xiaomi series in a handful of days, what about France?

Xiaomi 14: a launch planned in Europe… but for when?

Are you already dreaming of putting your hands on the new technologies embedded in the Xiaomi 14, including its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, or its high-end photo sensors designed in collaboration with the Leica brand? Well, know that you will unfortunately have to arm yourself with a little (a lot?) more patience!

In Europe, Xiaomi enthusiasts will obviously have to wait until next year (without further details at the moment) to hope to acquire a Xiaomi 14/14 Pro.

For its part, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra should only arrive on Chinese territory from the first quarter of 2024. The first rumors about it already suggest that it will be a worthy successor of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which is often considered one of the best current photophones on the market.
