A member of the microblogging service thus published two photos showing us two Xiaomi cars tested on the road in very snowy weather.

Two and a half years after Xiaomi registered the Xiaomi Automobile brand, the first car from the Chinese company seems very close to being marketed. The founder of the company had for the first time mentioned theidea to enter the automotive industry in March 2021. The Xiaomi Car will therefore have taken almost three years to materialize. Me Jun followed the conception of her baby very closely, as evidenced by the photographs published on the Chinese social network. The company’s CEO is one of four people seen in the photos, and he drove one of the two test cars himself.

The Xiaomi Car was out for a test drive in the snow

From the technical sheet of the cars tested on this occasion, nothing is known yet. As can be seen in the photographs, two Xiaomi cars are taken out of the factory walls for a test in very cold weather. As in their last appearances, the cars are cleverly camouflaged so as not to reveal any too important details of their design. Analysis of the shape of the vehicles confirms, however, that the first Xiaomi Car will be a sports sedan.

These public releases do not mean that the Xiaomi Car is complete. Its marketing is still scheduled for 2024, a pivotal year if ever there was one, since it is at this same time that Apple should present its Apple Car. It is also not known in which countries the Xiaomi Car will be offered. In the Middle Kingdom, it will be offered to a price oscillating between €12,853 and €38,552 excluding taxes depending on the version.
