Xiaomi will soon be retiring one of its most popular cell phones in 2023, the Redmi Note 12. The date for the presentation of the successor has already been set.
The most successful Xiaomi cell phones in Amazon Germany’s sales charts are currently the Redmi Note 12 Pro and the Redmi Note 12. But Xiaomi will soon retire both of them. Because now the date for the presentation of the Redmi Note 13 has been set.
On September 21st, Xiaomi will unveil the new generation of its top seller (already over 200 million units sold) in China. Xiaomi announced this on the Chinese platform Weibo.

Global market launch probably not until 2024
It will probably go on sale there a few days later. In this country, however, this can take a while. For the Redmi Note 12 series, half a year passed between the start of sales in China and the global launch.
According to the published image, the series will consist of three models (Redmi Note 13, 13 Pro and 13 Pro+). Xiaomi has already confirmed in advance that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will be equipped with the new MediaTek chip Dimensity 7200 Ultra. This is said to have been manufactured using the 4-nanometer process, similar to the chips in top smartphones.
