Xiaomi today presents its Redmi Note 11 range in Europe, made up of four smartphones with more or less similar characteristics. It consists of the eponymous mobile, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G and 5G, and the Redmi Note 11S.
The news may focus on the release of the next premium smartphones from Samsung, Oppo or Huawei, but the lines are also moving in the entry-level and mid-range segment. This is particularly the case for Xiaomi, which has just unveiled the four smartphones in its Redmi Note 11 range.

As usual, the manufacturer multiplies the references in order to adapt its offer to all budgets. This results in devices that sometimes look a lot alike. Although the technical sheets differ, the design itself changes very little. All these mobiles work under MIUI 13, the interface based on Android 11. Note that this Redmi Note 11 series has already been made official in China, but that its international version shows some differences. In addition, the prices mentioned below are valid for the global market, and are likely to vary in France by a few tens of euros. We will therefore have to wait to know their prices and final release dates.
A classic standard version, but effective
The Redmi Note 11 presents itself as the most affordable model. This does not prevent it from offering a 6.43-inch Amoled panel, defined in Full HD + (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) and equipped with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Everything is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and splash proof (IP53 certification). With 179 g on the scale, this smartphone remains rather light.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 11 abandons the Dimensity processor (MediaTek) in favor of a Snapdragon 680 (Qualcomm) coupled with 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage, expandable up to 1 TB thanks to the microSD slot. Also included are a 3.5 mm jack port and a fingerprint sensor located on the right edge of the device. On the connectivity side, this 4G smartphone offers Bluetooth 5.0, NFC compatibility and a dual SIM drawer. Autonomy is ensured by a 5000 mAh battery compatible with fast charging at 33 W.
This phone has a quadruple photo module consisting of a 50 megapixel sensor whose wide-angle lens opens at f / 1.8, an ultra wide-angle of 8 megapixels (f / 2.2), and two 2 megapixel sensors each for macro and depth measurement (f / 2.4). At the front, we are entitled to a 13 megapixel sensor housed in the central punch.
Available in dark grey, dark blue and iridescent blue, the Redmi Note 11 will be available in February starting at $179.
More ambitious Pro models
As their name suggests, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G and Note 11 Pro 5G do not offer the same connectivity. The first opts for a MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, while the second is equipped with the Snapdragon 695 engraved in 6 nm, which opens the doors to 5G. Both, on the other hand, come with 6/8 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of storage, expandable via microSD up to 1 TB. The rest of the specifications are identical.

They sport a 6.67-inch flat Amoled panel, defined in Full HD + (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) and displaying a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The light peak is announced at 1,200 nits, which will have to be checked . The set is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and also benefits from splash resistance (IP53 certification). The smartphones weigh 202 g, which is starting to show. These models also have a 3.5 mm jack port, stereo speakers, a fingerprint reader on the edge and NFC compatibility.

Their 5,000 mAh battery is compatible with the 67 W fast charging unit provided in the box. Enough to regain color in half an hour.
The photo configuration goes upmarket with a quadruple module consisting of a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 wide-angle lens whose lens opens at f / 1.9, an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle (f / 2.2 ), and macro and depth sensors of 2 megapixels each (f / 2.4). By combining 0.7 μm photosites and 9 by 1 pixel-binning, smartphones promise very good rendering even in the dark. Selfies are provided by a 16 megapixel sensor (f / 2.4) housed at the front.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro will go on sale from mid-February at a minimum price of $299. The Note 11 Pro 5G will cost $329 in its most accessible configuration. These two models will be available in light grey, polar white and deep blue.
A Redmi Note 11S that mixes genres
The latest smartphone in the range is positioned between the standard version and the Pro versions. Called Redmi Note 11S, it uses the same 90 Hz screen as the Note 11, but opts for the Helio G96 SoC of the Note 11 Pro. It is therefore not compatible with 5G.

Once again, we find the 3.5 mm jack port, stereo speakers, a fingerprint reader on the edge and NFC compatibility. Its 5,000 mAh battery recharges “only” at 33 W. In the photo, this phone displays the same ambitions as its Pro counterparts. It therefore has the same quadruple module based on a 108 megapixel sensor. It is therefore aimed at those who are ready to make concessions on the screen and 5G, but wish to take advantage of a more advanced photo experience. The Redmi Note 11S is expected to start at $249 in Light Gray, Blue, and Pearl White.
