Xiaomi unveils its new Redmi Note 11 range

As often, it is not a single smartphone at a time that Xiaomi unveiled on Wednesday, but a whole line of Redmi Note 11. Here are the newcomers internationally: the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 11S. Four smartphones quite similar in substance and shape, but which will set a new benchmark in the mid-range with their still impressive value for money.

In addition, the Chinese manufacturer has announced the upcoming arrival of its MIUI 13 system on 18 of its smartphones.

Media timeline: Netflix and Canal+ big winners of the new version

A new agreement on media chronology could soon come into force in France. While the films had to wait 36 months between their release on the big screen and their appearance on video streaming services, they could soon be broadcast after only 15 months on Netflix. A change of size that would not, however, make everyone happy. If Canal + saw the duration lowered to 6 months after the release, on the other hand, the free channels would have to wait 22 months, a little more than Disney + and Amazon Prime Video (17 months), even for their own productions.

Goodbye Oculus VR, hello Meta Quest!

Ten years after its creation by Palmer Luckey, Oculus VR disappears. The company behind the Oculus Rift and Oculus Quest virtual reality headsets, swallowed by Facebook a few years ago, will officially take the name Meta Quest. The VR branch of the group now under the name of Meta does not completely erase the Oculus brand (even if the Oculus Connect event had already been renamed Facebook Connect a few years ago and Oculus Research, Facebook Reality Labs…).
