Motorola has already confirmed that the company will launch a high-end smartphone with a 200 MP camera. With the 12S Ultra, Xiaomi has introduced a top model with a huge 50 MP camera. However, the dream of a 200 MP smartphone is not over, as an insider reveals. And we might even buy it.

Xiaomi 12T Pro expected with 200 MP camera

The Xiaomi 12S Ultra caused a lot of excitement with its huge 50 MP camera. The only problem is that we will probably never be able to buy this smartphone. Xiaomi only offers it in China and has no plans to expand the range. For that we should get the Xiaomi 12T Pro. This should be equipped with the 200 MP camera, which has been expected from Xiaomi for a long time. An insider confirms the plans with new specifications (source: Weibo).

According to this, the Redmi K50S Pro is said to be equipped with a 200 MP camera from Samsung, the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, 120 Hz display and 5,000 mAh battery. In Germany, this Smartphone then probably marketed as Xiaomi 12T Pro. It is quite possible that the Leica cooperation will also come into play here. That would be desirable, because the image quality of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra was convincing. And Leica has had a huge impact in ensuring that the photos offer decent image quality.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro is still the best Xiaomi cell phone in Germany:

Will the new Xiaomi smartphones be more expensive?

The Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro were significantly cheaper compared to the Xiaomi 11 and 11 Pro. The Xiaomi boss has already warned of higher prices. In the current situation, we have to expect higher prices, since Xiaomi has probably revised a lot with these models compared to their predecessors. The Xiaomi 11T came to Germany for 550 euros, the Xiaomi 11T Pro for 650 euros. The successors will probably not be that cheap.
