Xiaomi recently unveiled its SU7 electric sedan. The Chinese company has great ambitions for this vehicle since it is banking on its enormous user base to convince in a very competitive market. Up to 30 weeks wait for the SU7 Pro
A sign of strong demand for its first vehicle, Xiaomi is warning users. There were no less than 88,989 pre-orders during the first 24 hours, proof of the success of this electric sedan. If the demand for the SU7 is between 28 and 21 weeks, we are talking about between 27 and 30 weeks for the Pro version.
Xiaomi will have to face global but also local competition. Aito is offering discounts of up to 20,000 Chinese yuan, about $2,765, until the end of April for its M7 SUV. Similar financial assistance has been put in place by Xpeng for its G9 SUV. The SU7 electric sedan is therefore taking its first steps in the context of a fierce price war in China.
