(Boursier.com) — In the 1st half, the Group’s total revenue and other income Xilam Animation amounted to 16.5 million euros at June 30, 2022, up +23% compared to the 1st half of 2021. This increase is due to the increase in revenue from new productions and developments, up 23% compared to the first half of 2021. % to reach 9.7 ME. Above all, products in the catalog rose sharply, as expected, to almost double to 4.9 ME. On the other hand, the amount of subsidies for new productions was down -37%, given the large number of series produced on behalf of third parties over the half-year.
This level of turnover is in line with the historical seasonality of Xilam, which traditionally posts higher revenues in the second half of the year.
This first half also confirms the strong presence of the Xilam group internationally (74% of sales) and on digital platforms (67% of sales).
In an environment of very strong growth, driven by record investments in digital platforms, Xilam is able to confirm the cumulative revenue guidance for the 2022-2023 cycle at €110 million. In accordance with the Ambition 2026 plan, Xilam intends to double its revenues to approximately 80 ME by this horizon.
