Xlife Sciences significantly increased its profit in 2021


Zurich (awp) – Listed recently on the Swiss Stock Exchange, Xlife Sciences recorded a turnover of 0.8 million Swiss francs in 2021, after 0.4% in 2020. The operating loss registered to 5.2 (3.1) million Swiss francs. Net profit reached 53.3 (21.1) million Swiss francs, due to accounting effects (“Bargain purchase”, the company said on Saturday.

Xlife aims to be an incubator and accelerator for life science companies that revolve around universities and research centers. It helps them to market their inventions, in particular via licenses, partnerships or IPOs.

Last year, Xlife supported the Munich stock market listing of the project company Vitruvia Medical. Currently, its portfolio contains 23 corporate projects.

The company wants to pursue the development of its portfolio and intensify the effects of synergies and cooperation between the various projects. She also wants to focus on project partnerships.
