The SR-B30A is an all-in-one soundbar equipped with 8 speakers (4 wideband, 2 tweeters, 2 internal subwoofers) which broadcasts on 2.1 channels. The bar embeds the “True Sound” surround virtualization system which simulates an immersive sound bubble in 3 dimensions. The SR-B30A is also compatible with content mixed in Dolby Atmos.

In terms of design, the SR-B30A is quite elegant and rather understated with fabric upholstery and a vent on each side. With its size of 91 x 6.8 x 13.3 cm, it will fit easily with the majority of televisions. At the back we find all the connectors which are quite sparse: an HDMI eARC output, an output allowing you to add a subwoofer, an optical input in addition to Bluetooth connectivity. We deplore the lack of HDMI input and wifi connectivity.

In addition to the supplied remote, the bar can be controlled through the Sound Bar Remote app. It is thus possible to juggle between 4 listening modes in addition to a mode improving the clarity of the dialogues or another amplifying the bass.

The SR-B30A will be available from next October at a price of €349. The SR-B40A is identical to the SR-B30A except that it has no input for connecting an external subwoofer and does not have a built-in subwoofer. Instead, it comes with a wireless subwoofer measuring 19.4 x 41.9 x 40.7 cm and equipped with a 13 cm side speaker. The SR-B40A will be launched in September 2023 at a price of €499.
