Yanis Marshall files complaint against ex-choreographer of “PopStars” for sexual assault on a minor: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

Thursday January 18, 2024, Yanis Marshall spoke in a press release distributed through his lawyer, Me Kaltoum Gachi. The choreographer announced his intention to file a criminal complaint against Bruno Vandelli, made famous in the 2000s thanks to the show PopStarsbroadcast on M6. Yanis Marshall spoke of incidents of sexual assault which, according to him, took place when he was still a teenager. “The events of which I was a victim at the age of 14 haunt me, destroy me and plunge me into real distress”, he first explained. Although he has long preferred to remain silent, Yanis Marshall wishes to take matters into his own hands and make himself heard through this complaint. “I have to act for myself and I also think of others. The fact that other people have also been victims gives me the strength to lead this fight for justice and truth. I had a hard time expressing myself about this but now I’m ready.”he concluded.

The dancer recently ousted from the star Academy then provided details: It’s been a long time, it’s been 20 years. You can sue for defamation all you want. We all found each other again. We all talk about you among ourselves. We all know how much you’ve ruined our lives and we’re going to take care of you. I will take care of you personally.” Yanis Marshall seemed determined to see things through to the end. “Get ready. I’m BIG now, I’m not 14 anymore. And I swear on my life there won’t be another one”, he concluded. A few minutes later, Yanis Marshall shared a link to his interview given to Jordan de Luxe, in June 2023, during which he confided having been the victim of sexual assault.

A case that the former professor of star Academy takes it very seriously. He also gives news to his subscribers regarding the progress. After launching a call for witnesses in order to collect testimonies, Yanis Marshall spoke this Thursday, January 18, 2024. In his Instagram story, he shared a long message in which he claimed to have already received numerous emails. “I am in contact with 12 boys who were victims. It has been going on for about 30 years. I am willing to take any testimony”, he confided. For the moment, Bruno Vandelli has not reacted to the accusations against him. He remains presumed innocent of the charges against him until a court decision.
