A few days after the broadcast of the show Further investigation dedicated to Gérard Depardieu, this December 7 on France 2, Yann Moix informed the JDD of his decision to take his former producer to court on December 10.
Interviewed by the JDDthis December 10, Yann Moix did not hide his anger towards his former producer, who stole images filmed in North Korea, while he was traveling with Gérard Depardieu. These were used by the team of Further investigation, who programmed an issue dedicated to the 74-year-old actor. The journalist and writer explained that “rushes” of his film, which would bear the title 70they were stolen by its producer Anthony Dufour, from the Hikari company.
He specified that after several months of transactions carried out through its lawyers, he failed to recover them. He then pointed the finger at his former producer, claiming that he had used the videos he had shot in order to produce a “incriminating documentary” against Gérard Depardieu. “My images are now decontextualized”, he clarified. He further specified: “This is called theft and breach of trust, nothing more, nothing less. This is severely punished by law, since it is a criminal offense. According to my lawyers, my agent François Samuelson, this is unheard of”. Before concluding : “Anthony Dufour will have to explain this to the courts. Gérard Depardieu also attacks him”.
A damning documentary
This December 7, France 2 viewers were able to follow the show Further investigation: the fall of an ogre. Dedicated to French cinema star Gérard Depardieu, the documentary used images shot by Yann Moix in 2019, while the two men were staying in Pyong-yang in 2019can we read in the JDD from December 10, 2023. The interpreter of Obélix (in Asterix and Obelix: Cleopatra mission) holds some obscene remarks against the women he met, during the sequences which were broadcast on France 2. The comments made by Gérard Depardieu provoked numerous reactions on the Web. Indeed, many Internet users and personalities declared themselves shocked by the actor’s words.
