Let’s take advantage of the posture adopted by Yannick Jadot to bring up a somewhat technical point. Beyond its Christian dimension, this gesture is particularly effective in judging the quality of a costume and the value of its manufacture.
Despite arms wide apart, a suit of good quality, canvas and not heat-sealed, hardly deforms. The shoulders of the jacket will remain placed on the body, while its collar does not break. Obviously, Yannick Jadot’s costume is not very well made.

The green candidate had chosen not to wear a tie, which is not quite a detail. Asked about this, on France Inter, Jadot announced that he was going “soon to start wearing it”, because “many French people associate the presidential function with wearing a tie”. We therefore suggest that he adopt a silk grenadine tie 8 centimeters wide, tie it with a simple four-in-hand and to ensure that it falls at the level of the buckle of the belt of his pants. One more time, the presence of a marinière in the image obliges us to make a point of order. The official decree of March 27, 1858, which introduced striped knitwear into the sailors’ package of the French Navy, specifies that “the body of the shirt should have 21 stripes (white, each twice as wide as the 20 to 21 indigo blue stripes”, not one more, not one less.
