A few months ago, an insistent rumor evoked the existence of a remake of Chronocross, thanks to a series of indices related to Yasunori Mitsuda, the game’s composer. We thought it would be revealed in December, especially during the Game Awards, but nothing on the horizon. But this rumor resurfaces thanks to a tweet from the next composer, who teases his next work.
A new game with the composer announced in February?

On Twitter (relayed and translated by VGC), Yasunori Mitsuda thanked the people who wished him a happy birthday a few days ago, while specifying that he will thank them even better by letting them discover what he is working on, and what very soon. He then states that one of his projects is expected to be revealed next month at the earliest, without further details.
Inevitably, even if nothing indicates the nature of this project, everyone is thinking of the famous remake of Chronocross, which is not yet official. So be careful, but we can still look forward to discovering very soon what this excellent composer is working on, regardless of the project (we also pray for a Xenoblade Chronicles 3 here).
