No need to introduce yourself 2001: a space odyssey, Stanley Kubrick’s film released in cinemas in 1968. Lasting about two hours and twenty minutes, the feature film is often considered one of the masterpieces of cinema. If some rail against its relatively slow pace, especially at certain times, others recognize that it has very great cinematographic qualities linked to its production or even its original screenplay.

The film, which celebrated its fiftieth anniversary in 2018, is currently streaming on the Mastodon platform. It is a social network which presents itself above all as an alternative to Twitter and which wants to respect the personal data of its users. Anyway, as pointed out The Vergea certain PJ Evans has developed a bot whose mission is to share an image (the equivalent of a second) of 2001: a space odyssey every hour. A journey that began last month and is expected to end in about… five years.
