Ibiza: Save up to 42 percent on Mallorca’s flashy sister island

Fantastic beaches, wild parties in the biggest clubs in the world and hippie style: With this mix, the Balearic island of Ibiza has developed into a celebrity hotspot in the Mediterranean. During the day, the stars and starlets like to mingle with the bathers on Las Salinas beach. The 1.5 km long beach with soft, white sand and clear water in pastel blue and turquoise tones is a good ten minutes’ drive from the island’s capital Eivissa, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Beach restaurants and beach bars, which offer first-class food and drinks, nestle against sand dunes with pine trees. At night, partying in the best and biggest clubs in the world is the order of the day. With top DJs, spectacular shows with drag queens and sexy dancers – including a high flirt factor. The clubs are spread across three party hotspots: Playa d’en Bossa with the “Ushuaïa”, luxury hotel and clubbing venue with a spectacular open-air stage by the pool. Ibiza Town with the world-renowned Pacha and its five dancefloors, and Sant Antoni on the west coast with Café del Mar, the birthplace of the chill-out sound, and Amnesia. Not forgetting the biggest disco in the world: the Privilege. There are said to be more than 90 clubs and discos on Ibiza – they can be reached by disco buses from sunset to sunrise.

Positano: Save up to 41 percent on the Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi Coast stretches south of Naples, on the Sorrento peninsula to Salerno and is one of the most popular destinations in Italy. On the rugged rocky shore on the south side of the peninsula, fishing villages in bright pastel colors alternate with green-covered gorges and small white sandy bays. The most famous spot on the Amalfi Coast is Positano, a former fishing village spectacularly nestled on a steep rocky slope.

The favorite place of bloggers, instagramers, photographers, vacationers and romantics! As early as the 1950s, writers and artists were inspired by the picture-perfect beauty of Positano. The best beaches include Fornillo and Spiaggia Grande, while hikers enjoy the unique landscape on the Sentiero degli dei, the Path of the Gods.

Attention motorists: Since the summer of 2022, traffic on the Amalfitana coastal road has been restricted and cars have to adhere to a number plate system that only allows holidaymakers to visit every other day.

Mykonos: Save up to 30 percent on Greece’s legendary party island

The island of Mykonos is located in the middle of the Aegean Sea, in the Cyclades archipelago. With a length of 14 and a width of ten kilometers, it is not particularly large, but it is known all over the world. On the one hand as a hub for island hopping, on the other hand as a favorite of the jet set. As early as the 1950s, Hollywood movie stars, artists and aesthetes traveled to enjoy the dream of blue and white. Not only at the former nudist retreat Paradise Beach an internationally unique party scene quickly established itself: glamorous, liberal, tolerant, colourful, flashy and open to LGBT – with champagne parties, exclusive clubs and chic beach discos. Celebrating in style and luxury is the motto here.

But beach life is also celebrated: Dreamlike beaches and small bays are lined up along the 90-kilometer coastline. Because of the turquoise water, the beaches of Mykonos are considered to be the most beautiful in the Cyclades. The most famous party beaches are called Psarou Beach, just five kilometers from Mykonos Town, Paradise Beach and Super Paradise Beach. If you need a little break from the nightlife, you can relax on the west coast, on the quiet Agios Stefanos Beach. Half of the beach is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas, the other half can be used freely.

Côte d’Azur: Save up to 23 percent on the French Riviera

Longing for colours, sea and sun at a comfortable 20 degrees? Then the 120 km long Mediterranean coast of France – from Monaco to Marseille – is the right choice. It lies between mountains and azure sea and attracts with small mountain villages, famous places and high society feeling. The small port town of Saint-Tropez, for example, was made famous by Brigitte Bardot and the film “… and the woman always lures”. And since then has attracted international celebrities, from Naomi Campbell to Leonardo DiCaprio. The latter also likes to make a stop in Cannes on the way to Nice, at the international film festival. The fashionable city impresses with its old town, which is enthroned on a hill, as well as 13 public and more than 30 private beaches.

Fancy sipping champagne under palm trees and culture? The port city of Nice, not far from Monaco, boasts Belle Époche buildings, a glamorous waterfront promenade, the famous marina and 15 museums. From the Chagall Museum to a sports museum to the Matisse Museum. Painter Henri Matisse fell so in love with the Côte d’Azur and Nice that he stayed there until the end of his life.

Capri: save up to 20 percent on the dream island of stars and starlets

The island in the Gulf of Naples is the epitome of elite tourism. In summer, it is the stage for the international jet set, with icons such as Audrey Hepburn, Sophia Loren, Brigitte Bardot and Jackie Kennedy enjoying the Dolce Vita here. Today, stars like Julia Roberts, Demi Moore, Heidi Klum with her Tom or Orlando Bloom with Katy Perry are following in her footsteps. Why? Because Capri has a unique landscape, legendary luxury hotels, chic shops, hidden bays with quaint restaurants and the Blue Grotto.

The path on the crystal-clear water to the Grotta Azzurra alone is a highlight: along the coastline with its spectacular rocks rising out of the sea and gorges, with the volcano Vesuvius on the mainland in the background. Then change into the wooden rowing boat of a singing gondolier, crouch down to get through the only 1.50 meter high rock hole into the interior of the grotto, is an unforgettable experience. And the unreal deep blue of the water! Back on land, Capri’s medieval center awaits, with a 7th-century city wall and Tiberian villas that are almost 2,000 years old.

Island of Hvar: Save up to 20 percent on Croatia’s most beautiful holiday island

One of the ten most beautiful islands in the world lies in the southern Adriatic off the Croatian coastal town of Split. The English language business magazine Forbes at least names the island of Hvar in the same breath as Hawaii, the Maldives and the Bahamas. Why? Because Hvar has the most hours of sunshine in Croatia, the warmest sea, the hottest nightlife, chic clubs, bars and harbor cafés as well as romantic fish restaurants. This has long been known to the rich and beautiful of the world, who like to come here with yachts and find hidden places and bays in this way.

If you prefer pulsating beach life, visit the sandy beach bay at Palmizana. In the evening, Hvar town lures with its promenade, marina and vibrant nightlife. The most romantic sunset can be seen on the picturesque 15th-century fortress, which offers views in all directions.

Marbella: Save up to 19 percent in southern Spain

In the south of Spain, on the Costa del Sol, the wealthy like to party: after all, the beach in Marbella, with its fine, white sand, the deep blue sea, the large shallow water zone and its good infrastructure, is considered the most beautiful one far and wide. The most prominent resident of Malaga also strolls here: actor Antonio Banderas with his girlfriend, a blond banker from the Netherlands.

Marbella is not only a beach paradise, but also fascinates with its Andalusian-style houses and the winding streets in the old town. If you want to spot even more celebrities, head south of the city to the Puerto Banus marina, where around 1,000 high society yachts are moored. Or he goes to the legendary nightclub “Olivia Valère” to party, where the super-rich pop the champagne corks every evening.
