In a galaxy not so far away, Xbox is celebrating May 4th by offering players a free preview of one of the most acclaimed Star Wars adventures in recent years: Jedi Survivor.
Starting today, all Xbox Game Pass subscribers can dive into a free 5-hour trial of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the highly anticipated sequel to 2019’s Jedi: Fallen Order. Developed by Respawn Entertainment, Jedi: Survivor continues the story of former Padawan Cal Kestis five years after the events of the first game. As you can read in our review, we particularly liked this opus.
Having become a Jedi Knight, Cal finds himself embroiled in the escalating Rebel Alliance conflict and uses his Force powers and lightsaber skills to fight against the oppression of the Galactic Empire. The trial gives Xbox fans a good chunk of Survivor’s early hours to explore its beautifully rendered alien worlds, improve Cal’s abilities, and experience the game’s challenging, yet rewarding combat.
Jedi Survivor is available for free, but for a limited time
For Game Pass Ultimate members, the news is even better: the EA Play library is included in the subscription, allowing access to Survivor at no additional cost after the trial period ends. Any progress made will also be taken into account.
On May 4, Star Wars fans will have the opportunity to reunite with Cal Kestis and continue his fight to restore hope to the galaxy far, far away. Simply download the free trial from the Xbox Store to try the title, but hurry, because this offer will only last until tomorrow.
