The website of the Ministry of the Interior has put online three different certificates for people traveling to France from April 8.
Flooded with attestation, we are inundated with it, it is little to say. New documents have just been released. Travelers wishing to enter French territory must be provided with a certificate from this Wednesday, April 8, announced the Minister of the Interior, as part of the state of health emergency to fight against the spread of Covid -19.
There are thus three different certificates that you can download (the documents are at the end of the page):
-For a trip from abroad to mainland France.
-For a trip from abroad to an overseas community.
-For a trip from mainland France to the Overseas Territories.
“If you are traveling from abroad to an overseas community, a health check will be carried out upon your arrival. It can give rise to a placement in quarantine in a dedicated structure or at homeSaid the Interior Ministry in a tweet.
Specific cases
The first two forms offer three profiles: a third-country national, a national of European Union countries and the like (United Kingdom, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, Switzerland, San Marino, Holy See) and a national of French nationality.
In order to be authorized to enter French territory, travelers must fulfill one of the following conditions: have their main residence in France as well as their spouses and children, be in transit to join their family, be a health professional at for the purpose of fighting the Covid-19, being a carrier of goods including a sailor, being part of a crew of passenger and cargo flights arriving at its departure base, being a staff of diplomatic mission or of international organization, being a frontier worker at the borders terrestrial interiors.
With regard to French nationals, no reason is asked.
The travel document from mainland France to the Overseas Territories offers three possibilities to be specified: the “compelling personal or family reason”, that of “emergency health” or the “professional reason which cannot be deferred ”.
The forms, which are in the same form as the derogatory displacement certificates in force for the French, are also available in English.
