Three unknown young people apparently set a ten-meter-high tree with fireworks on fire in Kramsach on Monday evening. The fire brigade was able to extinguish the flames quickly. However, the tree had to be felled.
At around 5 p.m., the police were called to the burning tree between the Inntal motorway and the northern bank of the Inn in the Hagau district. The approximately ten meter high tree with a diameter of 80 centimeters stood there in a field. “The Kramsach volunteer fire brigade was able to bring the fire under control, but a subsequent felling of the tree – among other things due to the proximity to the motorway – was necessary,” says the executive. In a cavity in the tree trunk, remains of pyrotechnic objects of class F2 that are believed to have started the fire. “In the area of the fire, the reporter was able to observe three young people running in the direction of Brixlegg,” the investigators explain.
