Three unknown young people apparently set a ten-meter-high tree with fireworks on fire in Kramsach on Monday evening. The fire brigade was able to extinguish the flames quickly. However, the tree had to be felled.

At around 5 p.m., the police were called to the burning tree between the Inntal motorway and the northern bank of the Inn in the Hagau district. The approximately ten meter high tree with a diameter of 80 centimeters stood there in a field. “The Kramsach volunteer fire brigade was able to bring the fire under control, but a subsequent felling of the tree – among other things due to the proximity to the motorway – was necessary,” says the executive. In a cavity in the tree trunk, remains of pyrotechnic objects of class F2 that are believed to have started the fire. “In the area of ​​the fire, the reporter was able to observe three young people running in the direction of Brixlegg,” the investigators explain.
