During the Star Academy evaluations took place at the castle this Tuesday, December 19. For the occasion, the emblematic former teachers Kamel Ouali, Oascar Sisto and Armande Altaï were present. Before starting his singing performance, Djebril didn’t feel up to it. So he apologized to the teachers. “It was to tell you that I apologize in advance because I think that this is the least qualitative evaluation that I have been able to make since the beginning. And I admit that at the moment I have completely lost the pleasure of singing because I put too much pressure on myself about everything! And I wanted to be honest about that.” he confided.
The candidate’s speech was not unanimous. This Tuesday, December 19, Djebril was reframed by Kamel Ouali. While the students were in the dance hall for a moment with Kamel Ouali, the latter attacked the young man: “There has to be a shift in your head, otherwise you won’t stay. You’re in week seven and that’s where it all comes down to it.”, he said to all the candidates. He then attacked Djebril: “You can’t walk into an audition and say, ‘I don’t want to anymore’.”

Kamel Ouali then asked Djebril to pull himself together or else walk out the door. “It’s not respectful to the people in front of you. If you are tired, with pressure, I understand. But you have to use your moods to sing. If you don’t want to, well, go away! You have to make people want to work with you.”, he explained.
