“Your son is a killer”: the son of the old lady struck in Cannes gets angry with the father of an attacker

The anger of a son. This Thursday, September 15, Cyril Hanouna and the chroniclers of Do not touch My TV came back to the terrible aggression of Angèle, which occurred on August 29 near a residence in the Bocca district of Cannes. Via images from surveillance cameras, we discovered the 89-year-old lady being beaten by three minors who wanted to steal her handbag. While a first had struck him a violent blow behind the head, a second had rushed to steal ten euros from him. The octogenarian had finally been discovered inanimate, before being taken to the emergency room by the firefighters and then to file a complaint. Very shocking, the images of the attack had been massively shared on social networks, where they had caused great emotion.

Cyril Hanouna had indeed organized a face-to-face between the retiree’s son and the father and sister of one of the miners. From the start of the sequence, the host of C8 wanted to hear from Angèle. Very moved, René revealed that his mother was not in great shape. “She is very badly. Now she has the backlash, she still has to pass head exams”he explained before directly addressing the father of the aggressor: “It’s not possible to be like that. He’s a killer your son”. Extremely strong remarks but which René wished to justify: “The blow he puts in is to kill, not to steal a sack. At 89, you don’t even have to hustle her, you can take the bag. But kicking like that, it’s not forgivable.”

Visibly very embarrassed, Bouchaïb, the attacker’s father, apologized several times, while assuming his responsibility. “We have been suffering ever since. If it was salvageable, how can we make it up? I have his sisters, they are good. (…) He did his bullshit in a split second, I don’t know, I’m not defending him. Now he’s in a children’s prison, good for him”he launched.

But on social networks, many Internet users did not support this debate, and criticized Cyril Hanouna and his teams for having organized this face-to-face. “What a shame to invite the abuser’s family.
