Sunday March 12, 2023, a macabre discovery was made in a children’s play park located in Achères, in the Yvelines. Such a discovery could help lift the veil on a disappearance case.
It’s a discovery that no one wants to make while enjoying activities in a playground with their child. As reported by our colleagues from TF1, Sunday March 12, 2023, passers-by alerted law enforcement after making a strange discovery. In effect, they came across human bones. Immediately, police intervened on the scene to secure the perimeter and make the first observations. The judicial police and the technical and scientific police were also on site. They immediately noticed that the body was completely covered with plants, and that his clothes contained a wallet.
Thus, they were able to determine his identity. For good reason, there was his ID was present in his wallet. It would be a man born in 1948. After conducting their investigation, law enforcement believe they have solved a disappearance case dating back to April 2021. Indeed, at that time, they had received a description corresponding to this man. It had been stated that he had left his nursing home by car. The keys to the vehicle were also found near his body.

The latter was sent to the forensic institute to be autopsied in order to determine the circumstances of his death. Investigators now want to know under what circumstances the man died.
