Zenless Zone Zero seems to be in good shape to be the worthy successor to Genshin Impact, for Hoyoverse. Even though its futuristic design and roguelike style put it in a different category from fantasy RPG, Zenless Zone Zero already has legions of fans, most of whom are already Genshin aficionados.
And it was in the middle of summer that Zenless Zone Zero decided to proceed with a first closed beta phase. Don’t waste time, because you only have until Wednesday 27 at 6 p.m. to register.
When will the closed beta take place?
Called “Tuning Test”, the summer closed beta phase will begin on Friday, August 5 at 4 a.m.. The date and time of the end of the beta have not yet been specified by miHoyo. And it may be that this beta period is ultimately very short!
A long awaited game
Slowly but surely, the Zenless Zone Zero community is growing. The game’s English Twitter account already has nearly 200,000 followers, and each upcoming character teaser post is retweeted thousands of times.
A redditor named JeanVI even posted viewership stats for each miHoYo game launch video, for their respective English-language YouTube channel. The results are striking, since in just five days, the Zenless Zone Zero trailer reached 2.9 million views.
That’s more than twice the numbers of the Genshin Impact launch trailer, stuck at 1.4 million views, and almost three times those of the Honkai Star Rail trailer (1.1 million views).
