Tragedy on the Matterhorn. As the canton police in Valais wrote in a message, two alpinists fell on Tuesday while climbing the north face of the Matterhorn.
The two young climbers († 24 and † 25) fell from the north face at an altitude of around 4100 meters for reasons that are still unclear. They could only be recovered dead.
The public prosecutor has started an investigation in cooperation with the canton police. (zis)
