Several police patrols ended a car meet in the Metnitz beach area in Klagenfurt on Saturday evening. At around 6 p.m., an ad was received that around 200 people would give “rubber rubber” properly.
A large contingent of police drove towards Metnitzstrand around 6 p.m. But there was no more talk of “rubber rubber”. There were mainly vehicles with Carinthian and Styrian license plates in the parking lots. The police carried out checks and a total of 112 alcohol tests, all of which were negative. In addition, only a few administrative violations were found. With a few exceptions, the participants behaved very calmly and in a disciplined manner. At 7.30 p.m. the spectacle was over.
