120 Hz screen, 150 W recharge: the Realme GT Neo 3 becomes clearer

Realme took advantage of the Mobile World Congress to discuss the upcoming release of the GT Neo 3. The Chinese firm is now delivering new information about this smartphone.

The Realme GT Neo 3 will be presented in China on March 22, but the young company has already revealed part of its technical sheet. As usual, the brand intends to offer a very aggressive quality/price ratio.

She shared official visuals of the device on the Weibo social network, without however specifying the size or definition of its screen. A check on the TENAA website, the Chinese telecom regulatory body, nevertheless confirms that it is a 6.7-inch Amoled panel displaying in Full HD +. According to the manufacturer, it occupies 94.2% of the front of the device. A fingerprint reader is present under the latter.

The images tell us that the panel offers a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a sampling rate of up to 1,000 Hz. We can therefore expect great fluidity, especially in video games. It also promises suitable cooling thanks to the integration of a vapor chamber.

Performance and Lightning Recharge

The brand indicates that the smartphone has a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage memory. As we told you recently, this just formalized SoC is intended to be quite ambitious despite a price that promises to be contained.

For the photo, we should be entitled to a triple sensor consisting of a 50 Mpx wide-angle, an 8 Mpx UGA and a 2 Mpx macro module. A configuration that has become classic on mid-range smartphones.

The terminal intends to stand out thanks to its recharging speed. Indeed, it will be delivered with a 150 W charging block. We were able to see this technology at work during the MWC and it is clear that it is a hit. Thanks to the latter, the smartphone can recover 50% battery in just five minutes. The firm also announces that the battery retains 80% of its capacity after 1,600 recharge cycles.

As you will have understood, there is not much left to discover before March 22. The Realme GT Neo 2, launched last year, cost €469 when it was released in France. We have seen that Realme has attempted a foray into the high end with the GT 2 Pro, launched at 749 €. It remains to be seen whether the firm will continue to gently increase its prices.
