Around 7.50 a.m. there was a large-scale power failure in the communities of Grödig, Neu-Anif and Niederalm. The cause was a short circuit in a cable.
According to Saskia Heller from Salzburg AG, the large-scale power failure has now been completely resolved. 1,900 households were affected by a complete power failure from 7.50 a.m. According to Heller, a large part of the households were able to be supplied with electricity again shortly after 8 a.m.
